About Us

Sherni Streetwear is a Feminist Streetwear brand created by two Punjabi sisters born and raised in California for everyone! We wanted to create a streetwear brand that celebrates our culture and showcases our inner strength and elegance. We want everyone to rock our SHERNI STREETWEAR drip with pride. 

We have been influenced by both of our cultures by traveling to India since we were babies and growing up in California. We have lived in what has always felt like two different worlds that we love equally. Our aunt was a fashion designer in India. We spent our summers interning at her fashion atelier learning about fashion and design from the ground up.

Fast forward several years, it never felt right to start just an Indian fashion brand or just an American fashion brand. We didn't want to choose just one of our cultures without acknowledging the other. It was important for us to incorporate both our American and South Asian culture in our design and art. Since allowing ourselves to bring our whole selves into our creative process we have been able to fuse both of our identities into one movement that helps express who we are as modern American Desi's. This is the DNA behind Sherni Streetwear.

The majority of streetwear lines are designed by men and we felt like there was a lack of a woman's point of view especially a South Asian woman's perspective. So we created what we wish existed and we love our clothes and wear them daily!

To us, Sherni is a state of mind of being fearless, powerful, and unapologetic.
